Contribution to Some Strings (2024), a collective film project reacting to the death of the Palestinian poet Refaat Alareer in an airstrike during the Gaza war. It is a reversed sequence from my film Lamaland III: Paradies (2024), the third part of the trilogy about the last two survivors of the colony founded by Nietzsche's sister in the Paraguayan jungle. When filmmaker Narimane Mari invited me to participate in the project, this sequence immediately came to my mind, where nothing remains of the Promised Land but a miniaturised ruin.
