Contribution to Some Strings, a collective film project initiated in 2024 that denounces the assassination of the Palestinian poet Rafaat during the Gaza war. It is a reversed sequence from my film Paradies (2024), the third part of my trilogy about the last two survivors of the colony founded by Nietzsche's sister in the Paraguayan jungle. When filmmaker Narimane Mari invited me to participate in the project, this sequence immediately came to my mind, this kind of miniature devastation of a domestic landscape in permanent war, the sleep of the dead, the threads...
